Picture this - a liberal minded municipal council which green lights rather than red tapes the suggestion of using the cityscape as a temporary canvas. The Unframed urban art project, co produced by the Musée de l’Elysée and Festival Images, has seen artist JR transform the Swiss city of Vevey into a gigantic open air museum with large format interpretations of historic, iconic images. Nice little eye opener.
