‘Man Versus Wild’ stars the apparently deranged if aptly named ex S.A.S. soldier Bear Grylls. He gets dropped into extreme environments and goes to great lengths to demonstrate his manliness by chowing down on the finest gruesome, grotesquely gourmet offerings that mother nature can offer up. (Clue: road kill and rodents feature highly). Not my cup of tea. But, to be fair, DraftFCB has done a tasty job on the outdoor to promote the new series in New Zealand. I’ve smashed some dirty food in my time, but this is wild.
