The ‘Blue Road’ created by artist Henk Hofstra in Drachten, Holland a while back. He splashed 4000 litres of paint over 1000 metres of road, in homage to the waterway that once flowed there. Not only did the local municipal blue collars give it the go ahead, they even stumped up 50% of the 75,000 euro price tag. What a bunch of legends.
